Ten years of building factories, research, and quality systems — so global partners can scale baby food with confidence.
Introduction
In 2016, Babyyum started with one product: a pack of shrimp skin for babies.
Ten years later, we are a full-chain baby food company with four manufacturing bases, university research partnerships, and a quality system built around one belief — infant food leaves no room for compromise.
Our 10th anniversary is an important milestone for us, and also for the partners who have grown with us. It marks the shift from making products to building capabilities that other brands can rely on: stable supply, traceable raw materials, compliant formulas, and consistent production.
Why We Built Factories Instead of Only Building a Brand
Many baby food brands outsource everything. We chose a harder path.
Babyyum developed manufacturing bases covering frozen foods, formulated baby food, snacks, and yogurt. Separate raw and cooked zones, independent workflows, rapid freezing at -30°C, and batch-level traceability allow us to keep quality consistent across large orders and long-term contracts.
For trade partners, this means fewer surprises: predictable lead times, stable product performance, and clearer accountability when scaling into new markets.
Research That Supports Real Product Decisions
Baby food is not simply adult food in a smaller package. Texture, particle size, salt and sugar levels, allergen control, and shelf-life stability all need to be designed for a specific stage of development.
Through partnerships with universities including Jiangnan University, Babyyum has focused research on shelf-life quality, flavor preservation, and turning research data into formulas, processes, and internal standards.
This matters for export. When a partner enters a new market, the questions are rarely about taste alone. They are about label compliance, ingredient restrictions, nutritional claims, and whether the factory can support documentation requests.
Compliance and Export Readiness
We understand that every market has its own rules for infant and young child food. Sugar, sodium, fat, additives, labeling thresholds, and claim support all need to be reviewed before a product reaches a shelf.
Our teams work across formula review, ingredient screening, label checking, and documentation support so partners can evaluate a product against local requirements earlier, instead of discovering problems after shipment.
For OEM and OBM cooperation, we can support partners at different stages — from adapting an existing formula to developing a private label line with its own positioning, packaging logic, and supply plan.
What Ten Years Taught Us About Partnership
A good supplier is not only someone who delivers on time. A good supplier helps a brand avoid risk.
Over the past decade we learned that long-term cooperation depends on three things: honest communication about what is possible, transparency in production and quality records, and the ability to improve a product when market feedback changes.
That is how we work today. We review target market requirements with partners, align formulas and packaging early, confirm production capacity before committing lead times, and keep quality records accessible for audits and customer reviews.
Looking at the Next Decade
The 10th anniversary is not a finish line.
We are continuing to invest in production upgrades, digital traceability, and closer integration between research, manufacturing, and quality control. Our goal is simple: to become a baby food partner that global brands, distributors, and retailers can trust for the long term.
To every partner, distributor, supplier, and team member who has been part of this journey — thank you. The next ten years will be about building that trust in more markets around the world.
